3 Ginger Shot recipes for Clarity and Vitality

 

Clarity and Vitality

Makes 2 shots per recipe mixture

LEMON GINGER Shot

2-4cm fresh ginger, cleaned and peeled

1 Medium lemon, cleaned and seeds removed

CARROT GINGER Shot

2-4cm fresh ginger, cleaned and peeled

1 large carrot, cleaned and peeled

1 large lemon, cleaned and seeds removed

GREEN APPLE GINGER Shot

2-4cm fresh ginger, cleaned and peeled

1 small green apple, cleaned and cored

1 cup (21/2dl) organic rinsed spinach leaves

1 medium lemon, cleaned and seeds removed

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS for a JUICER:

Clean, Peel, Remove seeds and chop your ingredients.

Push everything through the juicer – use the high speed for the harder ingredients and the slower speed for the softer ingredients.

Divide between 2 shot glasses and drink immediately – make a new year wish while enjoying the spice of the ginger!

DIRECTIONS for a BLENDER:

Clean, Peel, Remove seeds and chop your ingredients in to small pieces.

Add everything to a high-speed blend and blend until smooth. Then press out the pulp through a fine mesh strainer or sieve to separate the pulp from the juice.

OBS!

Shots are best taken straight away, but you can make them in advance and keep in the fridge in an airtight container for 3 days. Nutrition is at its best if enjoyed immediately after making!

A juicer will makes a much better juice and will have less waste when it comes to the juice, but this gets you close. Greens don’t do well in the blender, so stick to using a good juicer for those.
